When we understand that everything centres on the blood of the lamb then our lives will be much much easier:
Abraham’s covenant with God was sealed when he was not hesitant to sacrifice his son Isaac to God. God provided the lamb and the Abrahamic covenant was established on the slain of the lamb that God provided- Genesis 22.
Which was a shadow of Christ as the first born and only son of God
The delivery of the whole nation of Israel from Egyptian slavery, the blood of the lamb was used. The killing of the firstborn, Israel was regarded as the first born of God. You and me we are now firstborns in the eyes of God because of Christ’s blood.
Just as the blood of the lamb delivered Israel from the bo***ge of Pharaoh so you and me were delivered from the bo***ge of sin. We are no longer slaves to sin.
God’s last card to Pharaoh was a shadow of Christ’s blood to the kingdom of darkness.
Devil doesn’t know how to handle a Christian who know his/her right in the blood of the lamb- Rev 12:11
We are made nearer to God by the blood - Ephesians 2:13
We are no longer enemies with God but we are of the commonwealth of Israel - Ephesians 2:12
With this understanding then the blood of the Lamb has exempted us to all sorts of assaults that were meant to be on us. The unavoidable suffering was terminated when Christ died on the Cross and rose up on the 3rd day.
We were exempted from death
We were exempted from wrath to come.
We were exempted from all the blackmailing that devil had on humanity. Anyone outside Christ is an object to the hand of the devil.
When we understand this, we then understand what David was saying in Psalm 91, when others(those not in Christ) are going through life, yours and mine will be different because we know how the story ends.
So RAG family welcome to the month of *Covenant of Exemption*. You are exempted from sickness and disease
You are exempted to spirit of lack and want
You are exempted from all assaults of darkness
You are exempted from all sorts of attacks of the devil.
“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee.”
Psalm 91:7 KJV
YOU ARE EXEMPTED!
