Liz shares her poem entitled "You Number Every Hair on my Head":

There is no other name higher,
There is no one greater than You, O' Lord
Yet you know every detail of my life,
You number every hair on my head,
You know every fear,
You know every joy
You are God Almighty, the creator of the universe,
But yet You are my Abba Father,
And you hold me so close.

When I wander down paths of my own making,
You draw me back into You,
You watch over me,
Never slumbering or sleeping,
And even when the day feels as dark as night,
Your promises are the light of dawn coming,
Your hope burgeons eternal and true.

So no matter where this day, month or year will take me,
I know that I travel with You,
And you love to hear me chatter as we go,
Telling You my hopes and fears,
Dreams and plans,
As we walk together hand in hand.

But then let me fall silent,
And rest awhile in Your arms,
Whilst you speak words of wisdom,
Into my life and circumstances,
Let my eyes ever be fixed on You,
And lovingly gaze at Your face,
For there I will find my purpose and my peace forevermore.

In Genesis 4, God doesn't just see Cain's face - He sees the posture of his heart. Angry. Jealous. Depressed. And He warns him: "Sin is crouching at your door... but you must master it."

Kevin shares how we often think the people around us are the victims of our emotions - but actually, we are the ones who are vulnerable. Sin is the predator.

It's not wrong to feel negative emotions. But how we act on them changes everything. Bring them to God. Do what Jesus would do.

Find out more about the story of the Vumba Massacre in the Elim Missions post.

Friday 23rd June 1978 is known as Elim's darkest hour, when thirteen of our Missionaries were martyred in the Vumba mountains of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). We mark the story of the Vumba Massacre every year on Missions Sunday. This video was produced to retell that story, and highlight what God has do...

When Kit washed the car this weekend it revealed something deeper: it's easy to look spotless on the outside while missing the hidden grime in the nooks and crannies. Our Christian life can be the same - polished on the outside, but God sees what's within.

This week's challenge: let the Holy Spirit do His deep cleaning work. It might get messy for a moment, but what comes out the other side isn't just a good-looking Christian - it's a healthy soul pursuing the goodness of God.

"The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." - 1 Samuel 16:7

Are you still replaying something you can't change? Vicki shares how whether it's a failed exam, a past mistake, or something that didn't work out - Paul's words in Philippians 3 are clear: forget what's behind, press on to what's ahead. God has new mercies, new blessings, new things lined up - but you have to be facing the right direction to step into them.

From the Red Sea to the Jordan River, God's people kept arriving at impossible crossings. In Joshua 3, the priests weren't told to wait for dry ground - they were told to wade in. Aaron explores what it means to step out in faith before you see the miracle, and why obedience comes first.

We're always chasing the next step - the new job, the new opportunity. But what if God is asking you to be faithful right where you're planted? Jess shares how Peter's ordinary fishing shift became extraordinary the moment he chose obedience. The same could be true for you this week!
