This coming Sunday (30th November) is the first Sunday in Advent. The 4 Sundays of Advent help us to think about why we have Christmas and what it all means. We have lots of varied events coming up at the Baptist Church to celebrate and investigate. Here's the first couple:
Sunday 30th, 10.30am Informal, interactive all age Advent service. Cafe style church, craft activity, reverse advent calendar, our new worship band will lead us in one of our songs. Hopefully we'll discover why it's a season of Hope!!
Advent Course - two sessions, evening and afternoon (7th and 14th, 7pm; 15th and 22nd, 1.30pm). Come and explore what the Patriarchs and Prophets have to do with Christmas; how Christmas brings hope, peace, joy and love; and some of the evidence that it's true. Seeking hope, curious about Jesus, new to faith, or just have questions - all welcome.

Friday 5th - 7pm - Charnwood Singers Concert in aid of Womens Aid.
Tuesday 9th - 7.30pm - Christmas Sing Along with Quorn Ukulele Orchestra.
Sunday 14th - 4.30pm - Carols in the Park.
Sunday 21st - 10.30am - Family Nativity Service.
Sunday 21st - 6.30pm - Candlelit Carol Service.
All at Quorn Baptist Church, Meeting Street (except the one in the park!!).
