At our Prayer Group meeting tonight, we offered up the prayer requests from the prayer box in our Chapel, in addition to our own petitions.

"May my prayer come before You; turn Your ear to my cry" Psalm 88:2

Today's monthly working party, which looks after our beautiful Churchyard. For those of us who are not blessed with green fingers, or if it's raining, there's also plenty of jobs to be done inside the Church building. So why not join us on the first Saturday of every month, from 10am to midday? Delicious refreshments are served afterwards and everyone is welcome.

Our monthly Prayer Group meets this Tuesday. If you would like a prayer said for yourself, or another person, or a situation which you are concerned about, please write it down on the back of a Prayer Dove and put it in the Prayer Box at the entrance to the Chapel. Or perhaps there is something you wish to give thanks for?

Your request will be read aloud at the meeting, then respectfully destroyed. All prayer requests will be treated in strict confidence.

Among those confirmed by Bishop Will was Michael, from St Mary's, although he does not appear in the group photograph.

What a night; forty two new brothers and sisters fully incorporated into the household of faith at the Lewes and Seaford Deanery Confirmation service in Newhaven last night. Thanks be to God.
