Instead of travelling into Pudsey centre,
why not give it a go? No need to book, just turn up.

“I attended the sit down yoga at the BB yesterday. It was a very calm and soothing form of exercise and I felt very relaxed afterwards. I would encourage anyone who is interested in keeping their body supple in their later years to try this.”

Can’t get a better recommendation than this!!

Lent 2026 // Saturday 4 April

God of grieving,
God of silence,
there is a strange gift in having time,
one whole day this holy week,
to sit with questions of why and how long
and to hear no response at all.
To rush from Friday to Sunday,
from death to resurrection,
wouldn’t do either justice.
Nor would it dignify the life of those
whose daily pain and grief
and constant pleas for justice
go unanswered in the world’s daily rhythm.
Let your silence fill this silence,
until our empty noise dies out.
Amen.

Today is Epiphany!
It is a luminous feast, and the Magi’s gifts are its language of symbols.
On Epiphany, the Magi arrive not with necessities, but with meaning.
The three gifts are not just offerings for a child; they are revelations of who this child is.
They offer gold, honoring a quiet life of immense worth. They offer frankincense, recognizing the breath of the divine moving close to earth. They offer myrrh, acknowledging that love will not be spared from suffering.
Together, the gifts speak softly: gold for who he is, frankincense for where he comes from, myrrh for what he will endure.
Epiphany is a day of recognition — a reminder that the sacred often appears without spectacle, waiting only for attentive hearts.
