Prayer Thoughts for Wednesday 19th August 2026

Loving and caring God, we give You grateful thanks for times of fun and laughter with family and friends during the holiday period.

We now ask for Your blessings on little ones, young people and their families as their lives may change and move on. We pray that You continue to walk closely with each one.

Our Holiday Club 2026 run jointly with St Nicholas Church was a fabulous week, during which we welcomed 71 young people.

Our theme was Football Fun, not focused on football games as such, but was all encompassing of football themed games, crafts, singing videos, quiz and hydration breaks!!! We know that everyone who attended enjoyed themselves and we hope that the new friendships made, last into the future.

We wish you well in the coming year and look forward to meeting up again in 2027, if not before!!

Heavenly Father,

You are with us at all times,

in sorrow, in sickness and in poverty;

hold us in Your loving arms though

the world seems full of sorrow and pain,

and cradle us in Your loving arms always.

In Jesus's name we pray.

Once again we are delighted to announce that Kingcase and St Nicholas churches are jointly running a Holiday Club for primary age children in August. We will be delighted to welcome those who have previously attended and equally excited to meet new attendees.

It is important to note that registration is every morning at 9.45am with pick up at midday. This must be undertaken by a responsible adult. Children aged 3-5 years are welcome BUT must be accompanied throughout by the responsible adult. If you require any additional information, please contact [email protected]
