Ashton Baptist Church Ashton Baptist Church: Standing for the Lord and His Word. We are a Bible-believing church where everyone is warmly welcomed.

Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30am, and we would love for you to join us - whether in person or online We are a group of people from in and around Preston who have come to believe there is a God and that He has shown himself to us and spoken through His Word, the Bible. Through faith in His Son Jesus Christ we have come to know God in our lives, which has changed us and given us a hope in this life and a future which stretches far beyond into eternity.

Last Sunday, we were blessed to welcome Dr Lazarus Gill, who brought us a wonderful message from 1 John 5:1–6.

He spoke about the signs of a life in Jesus Christ, encouraging us to reflect on what it means to live by faith, love, and obedience to Christ.

Today we gathered for a special service celebrating the life of our dear sister, Margaret Tingle.

Although Margaret is no longer with us on earth, we have the sure hope, through Jesus Christ, that we will see her beautiful smile again in the presence of her Heavenly Father. We thank God for her life and the encouragement she was to so many.

Please listen to the funeral message shared by David Earnshaw, as he points us to the comfort and hope found in the Gospel.

"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.'" (John 11:25)

May this message bring comfort and peace to her loved ones and all who join in listening.
