BENEFICE SERVICE AND FRECKLETON AIR CRASH MEMORIAL
Please note that there will be no service here, this week on Sunday 23rd August, as we will be joining together with our friends for a Benefice Service at Holy Trinity.

At 10.30am, a Memorial Service will be held at the Children's Grave, followed by a celebration of the Holy Eucharist in church.

It was wonderful to share Shirley's 90th birthday celebrations with her this morning. And doesn't she look fabulous! 😍

We pray for the repose of the soul of (Margaret ) Jean Makinson.

Jean's funeral will take place at Lytham Crematorium on Saturday 22nd August at 10am

We hold Jean's family in our prayers at this sad time.

• 2026 is 500 years since William Tyndale printed the first English New Testament. To mark
it, the cathedral is showing an original Tyndale New Testament on loan from the British
Library, from 2 September to 20 November — the only copy on display anywhere in the
