Hope Methodist Church in New Longton and Longton We are a growing church serving both Longton & New Longton. We meet for Worship on Chapel Lane, New Longton on Sundays at 10.45am & once a month at 6.30pm.

The Sunday School also meets at 10.45am. You would be very welcome to join us at any of our events. We are a growing church in prime location of New Longton & serve Longton & New Longton. We meet on Sundays at 10.45 am and 6.30 pm. The evening service is currently being held on the 2nd Sunday of the month. The Sunday School also meets on a Sunday morning. You would be very welcome to join us at an

y of our events but especially for Worship on Sunday's. The children meet in the Church and leave early in the service to go into the hall for Sunday School. However, we are very happy for children to remain in the Church for the whole of the service if they prefer. Do not be afraid of them making a noise - it is not a problem. We usually serve Fairtrade tea and coffee in the Church after the morning service so please stay and have a chat. We have many activities and groups that use our church building. The Leisure Painters Art Group
Coffee Morning, Lunch Club, Choir
Parent & Toddler Group, Youth Club for 9 to 16 year olds, Adult Youth Club for over 18's

Prayer Groups, Prayer Chain
In fact - If we haven't got what you want, just tell us. Our modern premises are well used throughout the week and visitors and new members are always welcome. We have a strong musical tradition and our choir, which meets for Christmas, Easter and other special events has around thirty five members. The Church attracts members of all ages and from various backgrounds - people just like you. The Church seats around 120 and has a large modern hall and ancillary rooms. There is adequate car parking in the Church grounds. We believe that God must be at the centre of all that we do. Talking and listening to God in prayer is a vital part of the life of the Church and its members. We are constantly looking for new ways of taking the church out into the community and to a world searching for answers. If you would like to be involved

Phew!!!! Brilliant concert - fantastic soloists, pianist and Music Director. The choir weren't too shabby either. Next up is our "Come and Sing" Vivaldi's Gloria - why not join us? Check out the website for details.
