All are welcome at the Ecumenical Easter sunrise Holy Communion service. 6am Pilling amenity. (The storm will hopefully have passed by then! Pilling Methodist church is on standby to host if the weather is too bad.)
10.30am join Sister Barbara who will be leading the Easter celabration service including a Methodist love feast- sharing coffee, cake and conversation.

*😞🌨️after so much rain🌧️ yesterday the fields are too wet to walk! 😞. **Start at St John's at 2.30pm.
Please share update.

Sunday 29th March. A little different to last year! If you wish to walk over the fields together, meet at St Williams at 2pm. We shall walk to St Johns where a very short act of worship will take place (aprox 2.30-2.45). Then we shall walk/drive on to the Methodist church where crafts and refreshments can be enjoyed together. Please come to all, or any part of this event. All are welcome and suatable for all ages. (Walk over fields includes uneaven groung, styls amd bridges. Children must be accompaniwd by a responsible adult. Walk is subject to the weather!)please share!

Today’s the day!

There are TWO services celebrating WDP across the Benefice:

🕑 2:00pm @ St. Oswald’s (sharing with St. Bernard’s Knott End)

🕖7:00pm Pilling Methodist Chapel (sharing with St. John’s, St. James’, St. Mark’s & St. William’s)

🇳🇬 The service has been prepared by Christian women from Nigeria.

😇 The theme is, “I WILL GIVE YOU REST, COME.”

🙏🏻 Please come and share in a global, wave of prayer.

🤗 ALL welcome…& refreshments will be served at both afterwards!

Week of prayer for Christian Unity ends today, it was lovely to share an afternoon of fellowship and food together with friends from Churches in Pilling, Knott End and Preesall.

What does the TV show "the Traitors" have to do with the call of the disciples? We thought about how hard it can be to follow Jesus when we can't see him and sometimes find the way difficult. We need to look for the signposts along the way which point us to love our neighbour, seek justice and bring life and hope. We committed to follow and asked for God to be the light to our path.
