*DAN & JOSHIE VISIT MASJIDE SALIHEEN, PRESTON*

Some of you may already be aware through social media, of a gentleman named *Dan and his non-verbal autistic son Joshie.* Over the past year, in response to rising hate towards minorities from far-right groups, Dan and Joshie have been visiting places of worship—particularly mosques—where they distribute cakes and share a message of peace, kindness, and unity, helping to challenge negative and harmful narratives.

We are pleased to announce that they will be touring Lancashire this coming weekend and will be visiting our *Masjid-e-Saliheen on Saturday 24th for Zuhr Salah at 1:00pm*

We encourage parents to bring their children to the Zuhr salaah and join us in showing love, compassion, and hospitality to our guests, in accordance with the beautiful teachings of our faith.

We will have a feedback session on our most recent visit to Masjid Al-Aqsa. During the session, a few group members will share their experiences from their recent travels. We’ll also address any safety concerns and answer your queries.

Assalāmuʿalaykum

Alhamdulillah we are pleased to announce a *Fajr challenge* for children aged *7-16* during the holidays. Fajr Salaah will be held at *7:45 AM* throughout the holidays to encourage EVERYONE, especially our children to develop the habit of praying Fajr Salaah in congregation.

There will also be activities and short, inspiring advices/adhkaar sessions, delivered for the children every few days to keep them motivated and engaged. At the end of the challenge, there will be prizes for all children participating as a reward for their effort and commitment with special prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:
_"Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed."_(Surah Al-Isra, 17:78)

And the Prophet ﷺ said:
_"Whoever prays Fajr (in congregation) will be in the protection of Allah."_(Sahih Muslim)

Let’s make this holiday a time of growing spiritually. We look forward to seeing you all daily at Fajr Salaah!
