City International Church City International Church is a new church in Preston made up of ordinary people whose lives have been transformed by encountering the person of Jesus Christ.

As we step into a new month, we're reminded of how important it is to gather together, grow in faith and encourage one another.

"And let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25

Your voice matters. Don't stay silent.
Think you're too young to make a difference in church? Think again.

God's Word is clear: "Don't let anyone despise your youth, but be an example to the believers" (1 Timothy 4:12).

Your generation isn't the church of TOMORROW, you're the church of TODAY.

And the church needs what you bring:
✨ Fresh perspectives
✨ Bold faith
✨ Uncompromising passion
✨ Creative energy

When you speak up, contribute, lead, and serve, something powerful happens—YOU step into God's purpose for your life. You discover your calling. Your faith becomes YOUR OWN, not borrowed from your parents or youth leaders.
But here's the real talk: the church's future depends on young voices speaking up RIGHT NOW.

So ask yourself: Am I going to be someone who waits to be asked, or someone who steps forward?

This week, do ONE thing that requires your voice:
🎤 Share your testimony
🎤 Suggest an idea in your church community
🎤 Volunteer for a ministry
🎤 Lead a Bible study or worship
🎤 Mentor someone younger
🎤 Speak up about what matters to you

Your voice is not too quiet. Your ideas are not too small. Your faith is not too young.

As we step into March, we invite you to journey with us at City International Church, a place where faith grows, hearts are strengthened, and lives are transformed by the presence of God.

Every gathering is an opportunity to draw closer to God and to one another as a community of believers. Whether through worship, fellowship in our homes, or united prayer, we believe God moves powerfully when His people gather.

Today’s sermon at City International Church was titled: “One Thing,” by Pastor Sam James.

David, the psalmist, said, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek after…” (Psalm 27:1–6).

In a world filled with noise, pressure, and endless pursuits, the message was simple and clear:
👉 Our primary focus should be God.

Not success first.
Not money first.
Not validation first.

God first.
And when our focus is right, everything else finds its place.

When God becomes the one thing, clarity replaces confusion, peace replaces fear, and purpose replaces anxiety. The things we chase stop running away when we align our hearts with Him.

A much-needed reminder for today. 🙏🏽
