ANNOUNCEMENT - No, Tom isn't going anywhere! But he will soon become additionally Priest-in-Charge of St John's Leyland (Earnshaw Bridge).
John Harding (pictured below with his wife Kirsten) is being licensed as Curate-in-Charge of St John's following his ordination as Deacon on 27th of this month. John has considerable experience in leading a church in Liverpool, so the bishops feel he can take up a greater measure of church leadership and responsibility from the off than most curates would be ready for. John's church in Liverpool wasn't a Church of England church, however, so he still needs to serve a curacy and learn bits and pieces about how the Church of England works and what an Anglican approach to ministry looks like on the ground - so Tom will be his mentor ('Training Incumbent'), support, and legal/procedural backstop as John learns the ropes.
We should expect to see John only occasionally at All Saints', and Tom will only rarely be needed at St John's - 95% of Tom's role will be behind-the-scenes.
Please pray for John and Tom, and the congregation at St John's, as this all gets going.

Acts 2:22-32
The Resurrection reveals who Jesus is - the Messiah, the Holy One, the forever-king in David's line.
The Resurrection shows us how to read the Old Testament: Jesus solves its riddles (Psalm 16).
