There won't be a service at St Michael's on 16th August, instead there will be a United Benefice Service at the Remembrance Wood, Richmond Ave, Wrea Green, Preston PR4 2EJ at 10 am.
We do hope you will be able to join us.

The Civic Service takes place this morning at 11 am. Local councillors will assemble at the village hall at 10.30 am to process with our rose queens and their retinues to church. Everyone is most welcome to attend this service which will be followed by light refreshments in the school hall.

What a most fantastic Weeton St Michael's Garden Party and Rose Queen Festival we have just had. Thank you very much to everyone who contributed in anyway, impossible to name anyone individually, so many people worked so hard in different ways and and gave and spent so generously, creating a marvellous atmosphere. An English traditional afternoon at its best. You all came together to make a wonderful day, one of the best ever. We are so grateful to you all.

Weeton St Michael's Garden Party & Rose Queen Festival
This Saturday 11 July.

Fancy dress registration at 1.15 pm Procession at 2 pm. Rev Philip Chew is coming back to crown the Rose Queen, Thea Cooper. Do come along, our school children will be dancing round the maypole and there's lots to do including tombola, raffle, bouncy castle, food and drink.

Don't forget the roads into the village close between 1.45 & 3 pm.

The PCC would like to thank the Parish Council of Weeton with Preese for arranging for the beautiful plants along the church path.

Our annual Garden Party & Rose Queen Festival is on 11 July, don't forget that the roads into the village will be closed from 1.30 to 3.00pm. Do come along and join in this wonderful event, lots of fun and games, fancy dress, tombola, raffle, refreshments, music and entertainment. The rose queen, Thea Cooper will be crowned by Rev Philip Chew following the procession round the village. We look forward to seeing you all there and at the Civic Service the next day in church at 11 am.
