Ash Wednesday Services are taking place tomorrow, 14th February marking the start of the season of Lent. The services are being held at 1.00pm at Central Methodist Church in Lune Street or 7.00pm at Fulwood Methodist Church. All are welcome at these highly symbolic services.

Week of Prayer For Christian Unity service (Churches Together in Penwortham) on Sunday 21st January at 4 pm at the United Reformed Church, Liverpool Road. All welcome of course.

Today on the 18th January is the start of Christian Unity week. Today, Friday 12th January, at 12 noon, Premier Christian Radio is uniting with United Christian Broadcasters (UCB) to call the nation to prayer. We believe there is extraordinary power when God’s people unite in prayer and together, we want to see something ignited that will transform lives across the nation. We received a big THANK YOU from the Salvation Army for our donation of toys at Christmas:
This year we helped 298 families with toy/gift hampers. We provided toys for 311 0-10 year olds, and gifts for 284 10-19 year olds. A total of 595 children. On average each child was given about 15 items making the total around 8925 toys/gifts that were given out.
