To everyone who took part in our successful Holiday Bible Club last week ‘thank you!’ Margaret Heatrick, all the volunteer helpers from the three Congregations, to our partners from CEF - Jeff and Karen - and to all the parents who brought their children along.

Our Club is over for this year but others are just starting! We received this poster from our friends in Acton Church of Ireland and Poyntzpass Independent Church about theirs, just this morning. Thanks to Richard for passing it along!

Having spent today at the General Assembly Dr Wilson had formed the opinion that some influential people are from a time and place different from the one occupied by the rest of us.

When he went to retrieve his car, he was therefore not very surprised to find some of their vehicles. The flux capacitor was not obvious, sadly.

We had a great start to our Holiday Bible Club with volunteers and children from all three Congregations tonight.

We meet every night this week from 6:30pm to 8:00pm for all children of Primary School age.

The choruses with actions were especially good fun!

We had a good Meeting on Sunday night when the Orange Brethren from Blackbridge - and some of the Junior Brethren from Sir Henry Wilson Memorial - attended Worship at Fourtowns!

The parade was led by Drumlough pipe band, the preacher was our Church of Ireland brother, Rev. Rodney Magennis who spoke genuinely inspiringly.

The event was rounded off by a magnificent tea!

Dr Wilson was just reading today's Newsletter and reflecting that no matter how unhelpful the opinion, you will always be able to find a retired Presbyterian Minister or 'former Moderator' willing to express it in public.

Please don't take part in any extremist demonstrations or marches!

If you feel the need to join a parade then you should come to the Blackbridge LOL Service in Fourtowns on Sunday at 7pm instead, the wonderful Drumlough Pipe Band will be leading the procession, our Church of Ireland brother Rodney Magennis will be preaching and there's always a splendid tea afterwards!

Here's a lovely photo of a Member of Cremore at Scarva last year.
