Here are details of what's on during our Mission weekend. All are very welcome to come along to any of the events and services.

Our Mission Weekend to celebrate 100 years of the Blackburn Diocese runs from Friday 11th - Sunday 13th September. Why not join us at one (or more!) of our events and services...details below.

Today we had a Prayer stall in Market Place where we also promoted the Mission weekend which starts next Friday. There are lots of leaflets available in Church as well as posters with all the information on. We spoke to lots of people, inviting them to come along to any of the planned events as well as giving them the opportunity to light a candle, write a prayer or just take some of the free items that we had on the table.

Some photos from last evening's slide show and talk about Mixie and Sarah's (and David's!) amazing achievement earlier this year. They walked an incredible amount of miles and raised over £4,000 for Trinity Hospice! Last evening even more money was raised for Trinity and we all enjoyed a very interesting and entertaining evening. As well as the talk from Sarah and Mixie, Angie told us more about the fantastic work that Trinity do. Well done to Sarah, David and especially to Mixie who is such a gorgeous girl!
