Our churches will be open today (10 or 11 am to 3 or 4 pm) with special displays:

🧡Prayer stations
💛Flowers
💚Music
🩵Screen presentations

💒 The Old St. John’s Church Pilling will hold a special service at 3pm

Please come along~ pop into them all, look, listen, read, relax and gaze at these wonderful spaces.

There will also be opportunity for prayer and anointing at BVM, Hambleton (11-12pm) and St John, Pilling (4-5pm).
This is a chance to pray with someone, for anything!!
Something to give thanks for?
We will pray and give thanks.
Something you are worried about?
We will pray with you for it.
Never been prayed with?
Come and we will pray with you!
Are you or someone you love suffering?
We will pray about it together.

It is very simple, come to church and two people will pray a few words out loud.
You can also light a candle.

The church is ready for the weekend celebrations and mission! 🧁🎶🌼🙏

Alistair McKenzie concert this evening at 7.15pm. Free concert followed by cake and coffe

Tomorrow the church will be open all day from 10.00am -3.00pm as we celebrate our patron saint - the Blessed Virgin Mary. with flowers, images of Mary's around the world, a display around the history of the parish church and more refreshments.

There will also be an opportunity for prayer and anointing from 11.00am-12.00pm

We are also on the map as a Pilgrim Place so come along, pick up a leaflet and walk around our beautiful peaceful space. For more info check out Faith in the North/ Pilgrim Places.

The Season of Creation runs from 1st-4th Sept and is dedicated to God as Creator and Sustainer of all life. In the church calendar we now have a new festival called "Creation in Christ" This gives us an opportunity to come together and give thanks for God's creation and reflect on humanity's responsibility to care for the natural world and pray for it's renewal. As we look around the world today the need has never been so great!!
All are welcome come and join us at 11.00 am this Sunday

Unfortunately this is not a happy post! The outside notice board at church has been damaged by someone using it as practise for ?? an air r***e and shattered the glass on both sides. The police have been informed but if anyone has any info that may help please could you contact us.
The noticeboard was donated to us by a family in memory of a loved one which makes a bad situation even worse!
