🤗 Raise & Praise began with a warm welcome & prayer from Rev. Naomi, thanking God for being good.
✅ Children shared what has been good this week.
🎶 Everybody sang, ‘I’m gonna jump up & down, gonna spin round & round…
📖 Story time - Rev. Naomi reminded all about Paul’s journey, which has been the recent focus.
🎭 A couple of youngsters helped tell the story of Paul & the shipwreck
📽️ Everyone watched a video showing how Paul received a message from God saying all would be well, even though it looked hopeless.
🌊 Scary storm stories in the sea and in life were shared and linked to Paul’s frightening experience. In his darkest moment, Paul listened, gave thanks snd realised that God was with him all the time.
🥤During refreshment time, there was an opportunity to explore the story through craft🧶, art 👩🏻🎨& science👩🔬.
🍞 After gathering back together, bread was shared & communion was reflected upon, remembering how Jesus shared bread before his arrest.
🙏🏻 Prayers were said for the storms in our own lives and in the wider world.
💡 The service ended with joyful singing of ‘My Lighthouse’ praising Jesus, recognising that He is always with us.
