Address from the Isle of Harris where the weather has been crazy!! All four seasons in one day! Maturing as a Christian is all about weathering the storms of life. Becoming resilient. Always having the faith to know that the storm will blow itself out. That better days lie ahead. Knowing that God through his Son Jesus Christ has conquered evil and that thr battle has been won. Our life as Christians is realising the truth of that in our lives and spreading that Good News to everyone we come across. "Gospel" literally means "Good News!"

Some thoughts from the Isle of Harris.
The Western Isles are sometimes described as being on the edge of the world yet from these islands there was a huge Christian revival at the beginning of last century. As I joined with my Christian brothers and sisters in Stornoway I was struck by how blessed I am to be able to worship with Christians from the East of Scotland to the West. As Christians we have family wherever we go.
