We are a family of people that love Jesus, and seek to see his gospel change the lives of many in our great waterfront city of Portsmouth, and in regions and nations beyond. ChristCentral Church gathers people of all ages and backgrounds from across Portsmouth and Southsea and beyond. We are a vibrant, Bible teaching church eager to serve those in and beyond our city with the good news of Jesus Ch

rist. Our Sunday Services are currently located at the John Pound Centre in Portsea. All are welcome to join us no matter where you are with your faith. We also meet mid-week in smaller groups to make friends, grow in faith and connect with the life of the church.

Women's Breakfast 19th September

Come and join us for our Women's Breakfast on Saturday 19th Sept at 10-11:30am at the John Pounds Centre. We'll enjoy breakfast together along with a time of fellowship, worship, and encouraging testimonies shared by women from our church family.

Prayer and Fast TOMORROW 7:45pm

As a church, we're coming together tomorrow to pray and fast for the church and the new term ahead. We believe in the power of prayer and expectant of all that God will do and speak.

We'll be closing the day together at 7:45pm at the Stacey Centre with an evening of prayer and cannot wait to see you there!

New term. New start. What’s on in September?

Each September we welcome lots of new students, kids start new years at school, and we cling on to the last warmer summer days.

It’s a new beginning. So we begin by looking up to God.

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.”
(Psalm 143:8)

Almost halfway through our Proverbs reading plan already 📖

Well, one-third of the way.

If you’ve fallen behind a bit, this is your reminder not to give up.

Summer routines change. Holidays happen. Life gets busy. This was never about perfectly keeping up with a reading schedule.

The goal is simply to keep coming back to God’s word and asking him for wisdom in everyday life.

So whether you’re fully caught up, a few chapters behind, or restarting today — keep going.

You can start from today’s reflection. Or go at your own pace. Or dip in when you can. There’s no rule.

Wisdom is worth searching for. Wisdom has spoken to us. It’s for us now to listen and understand.

There’s still so much wisdom ahead, and we’re glad you’re reading with us.
