HOLY SATURDAY - Descent of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into Hell (or the abode of the dead)

By His death, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ descended into Hell to free Adam and Eve and all righteous souls.
1 Peter 3:18-20 and Ephesians 4:9-10.
He thus opens the way to salvation even for those who died before His coming.

Il ouvre ainsi le chemin du salut même à ceux morts avant sa venue.
