HOW WILL IT BE WHEN WE MEET HIM?

At some point this year, I went through a surgical procedure. I recall my heart been so at ease as the Holy Spirit reminded me to keep my gaze on the LORD because that way my heart will be at ease.
I vividly recall the Anaesthesiologist in the theatre room whispering, Charity, I will inject some medication into your cannula and in 30 seconds you will go off to sleep. I responded, that’s alright. One dose, I felt heaviness cover my face and chest, final dose, I went off to sleep.
Moments later, I heard whispers in my ears 👂 as though someone was calling me from afar as my name echoed “Charity, Charity, Charity”. I then responded slowly yes yes. Okay ✅ procedure successful. The team responded, we are all done. Thank you, I responded.
This whole experience got me thinking how one day, we will either go to sleep (in the lord) or be raptured. My focus is on going to sleep. When the time comes, we will fall asleep to be with our first love. The thought of this causes everything within me to leap with joy as I imagine how beautiful it will be to see our saviour, the Lord. That day we will be woken up like “Charity, Charity, wake up, see, it is done”. “Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!””
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭16‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Just like the Lord said on the cross, it is finished. The relief….As I reflect, echoes of scripture and songs resound in my ears: “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”

Covetousness.

A couple of days ago, I saw a colleague with nicely painted nails. I loved how they looked and appreciated her. She then told me how she made them and put under UV light hand machine. She then said or you could do them as well. She said her son bought her the nail machine. She said she would bring this with her nail polish to help me paint my nails.

Nail painting 🖼️ day came, met her, she came through to tell me she brought the Nail machine as promised.
I was excited to see how beautiful my nails would look.

But the Holy Spirit just convicted me of covetousness over my colleague’s nails and nail uv drying machine.

I heard the Holy Spirit say it’s okay to appreciate something looking nice but * Not right for me to covet things or other people’s things*

The Holy Spirit tells me sometimes it just has to end in oh this looks nice or would look nice on me or to have but not bring or drag it home or want to have it as well unless needed as the Holy Spirit guides.

Short story, the nails didn’t last up to a week, they washed off in about three days, meanwhile my colleague said she had hers on for over a week or so.

So, not everything that fits person A would fit you, be discerning.

*With or without a will? Or will Submitted*

I was on a bus returning from work a couple of weeks ago. And there I saw a colleague from work sat in bus 7. She had her baby that looked like a 2 year old. The baby was busy resisting and wanting to seat by herself as the lady tried to keep her calm.

Now it dawned on me that that 2 year old actually has a will. But to what extent and how beneficial is this?? Only until she submits her will, will she be able to enter what her mom has in mind for her. In this case, if she sits on the chair by herself, without a sit belt, she risks falling, banging her head etc.

Only a person without a will can be controlled or rather only one who has submitted their will can be controlled or Led.

It takes understanding and trust to be led, especially by God
