Southern Cross Evangelical Church Portslade

This coming Sunday (6th September 2026) we have two Sunday services.
In the morning (10.30am) Pastor Andy Billinghay will be preaching for us and preaching from Judges Chapter 6, come and hear how God raised up a new deliverer in Gideon.

If you have young children we are able to stream the service in the back hall whilst the children are able learn about God.

In the evening (6.30pm)) Pastor Graham King from Peacehaven Evangelical Free Church will be preaching for us, come and hear God speak to us all.

If you have young children we are able to stream the service in the back hall whilst the children are able learn about God.

After the morning service we will be observing the Lords Supper, all those who know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour are encouraged to attend.

Southern Cross Seniors Coffee Morning Thursday 17th September and every Thursday to follow during term time.

This group is aimed at retired people over 60 years of age to come along and have a chat, do a quiz and listen to a short Bible talk.

Friday 11th September 6pm-7.15 Registration and Taster Kids Club session.

Parents and Carers bring your children of school age year1-year6 and meet the leaders of the Southern Cross Kids Club.

We are aiming to keep this a FREE club for as long as possible so come along and see what games and crafts will be available.

The format of the club with include a short Bible talk appropriate for the age group.

If you are unable to attend this session but would like to register your child/ren please email [email protected] and we will send you a form to complete.

What’s on at Southern Cross Evangelical Church?

We will be back open for our Friday Toddler Group on Friday 11th September 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm. Babies, pre-school children, parents and carers are welcome £1 per family.

Also that evening we will be launching our new “Kids club” this will be running 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm for school years 1-6. The first week is a “registration week” and both children and parents will be staying after the first week it will just be the children. Come and sing songs, hear a short Bible message, do some craft or play games.

Thursday 16th September 10:30 am - 12:00 pm we will be launching out Southern Cross Seniors group. Come and take part in a quiz, have a chat, have some refreshments and hear a short Bible message.

Of course we also have our Sunday church services at 10:30 am and 6:30 pm all are welcome to these.
