New to our church?

There is so much going on, and so much to share with you about us, but the best way to discover more about SBC is to come and join us. Our Morning worship begins at 11.00am. During the morning services we have meetings for youth, a Sunday school and a creche for the younger ones. Our worship is free and informal, being led by a worship group of talented musicians and singers. The sermons are chall

enging, and firmly biblically based. Besides the Sunday morning services we have home groups that meet in different locations throughout the island. We believe these small meetings are an essential part of creating and maintaining the church community. They are times for informal chat, deepening friendships, prayer and study. In addition to the home groups we run various study courses for those wanting to enter into a growing relationship with Jesus, and we have regular prayer meetings to intercede for those in need. We are a lively friendly church and would love to meet you. Please come and join us. We are running Alpha again starting this month!

This will be a 12 week, online course consisting of a short video and time for discussion. Whether you are new to faith, just exploring or been walking with Jesus all your life, everyone is welcome.

We now have flyers in church that you can take away and give to anyone you feel may want to come along. These will have a QR code that will take you to the sign up link. This can be accessed via our website, https://www.skyebiblechurch.com/bookings.

If someone you have invited is coming along we would encourage you to consider also coming to support and be a safe person for them.

Please do pray for the Alpha course, for those leading, for the people who come and for the Holy Spirit to move week to week in people’s hearts.

We have been praying for 40 days as a church, following daily prayer prompts, meeting weekly on Zoom to pray together, and praying over our own three prayer points daily. Tomorrow we meet at 6.30 pm to celebrate 40 days of prayer and share how God has answered prayer, and to encourage us to continue pressing on in prayer to our faithful and loving Father God.
