As we draw closer to Remembrance Sunday we should remember it with such respect and honour to all those that gave their lives for our Freedom. I have known many soldiers throughout my long Army career that died in the line of duty and when I was commissioned and a couple of my roles was as the In Service Death and welfare officer every time I had to break the most devastating news that no parent husband wife or family member would want to hear, the most astonishing remark from them all was “He, She died doing what they loved doing, serving their Country. But for me this goes even further as I know someone that died for every single one of us, the most horrific death when HE did absolutely NOTHING wrong. Just like the soldiers went over the top in the WW so Jesus went over the top for you and me. Please as you remember our incredible Armed forces past and present I ask you to spare a thought for the ONE who through HIS suffering and pain OUR lives can be spared so that our next posting will be HEAVEN-BOUND. Just as our Armed Forces gave their ALL so did our JESUS.

What do you do on Sundays? Why are you asking Dawn ?
Simples because we are inviting you to join us at church for our new series YSH. It’s a series about being bold and taking our promised land that God has for each and every one of us. It’s not based on age, gender, rich or poor, it’s about the passion and determination in pursuing it and not giving up. I don’t know about you but I absolutely despise it when people look at me and think that now I’m older I need to slow down, what a load of codswallop. I refuse to retire, the only retiring we are to do is to RETYRE for perhaps different terrain.

Ladies you don’t know what your missing. 14 of us tonight with 4 unable to come, it was brrrriliant, and room for more if you fancy it A time for ladies to come together, have good food and ask the question Is there more to life than this. Feeling isolated, lonely, hopeless, struggling with life’s issues, then just get yourself to She. Being in the right environment with the right people can seriously change your life. While others were out celebrating darkness we were giving thanks for THE LIGHT of the World. Next one is 28th November. Tonight’s discussion and video was ‘Why did Jesus have to die’ such great contribution’s from everyone. Fandabidosy, gives me so so much joy.

You are invited to church today and you can just come as you are, bring you hurts your pain your disappointments your addictions your whatever That’s exactly how God wants to meet with us, he wants us to let him in to the deepest parts as it is only God who can touch the parts that no one else can. Today we are talking about a subject that not many speak about and that is the reality of Heaven and Hell, it’s not fictional, every single one of us will meet with death one day, we won’t be able to avoid it and we need to speak of this more so that we don’t get caught out by our ignorance and by no one telling us about it. Was so blessed in church today, just before it started a guy came in and asked if we could help as he was homeless. I thank God that he was drawn to our place, we were able to provide him with a warm coat and food and help him to find a place for tonight. He stayed throughout our service and felt very welcome and was so grateful. Even though he was in a storm he fell fast asleep and I had the opportunity to tell him about Jesus. I don’t know much of his story but we can do what we can with what we are presented with, we are not here to judge. Now that’s church. Reminded me of the scrpture in Hebrews 13
"Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it".

I believe sometimes God puts people across our path to see how we treat them. Do we look down on them or do we do whatever we can to do kindness. In that moment of time was the priority of the believers more important to be led in the service or was it the man, was it more important for them to see how he was being treated. That’s what Jesus would have done I’m certain of it.

Today we have a great message from Luke Hancorn on our calling. You may not know it yet but everyone of us have a calling on our lives, we have been uniquely born with that calling and purpose but the question is will we choose to walk in it.

What do you have planned for tomorrow, you may be saying, nothing, well if that’s the case why not come and join us at Freedom that meets in Tonyrefail Community Centre (AKA Lighthouse) at 4pm. Tomorrow we will be talking about the poison that we carry around with us everyday that can be passed onto us or poison we pass onto others that is very damaging, that can break down relationships, that brings division, that can be passed onto our children that then infects them like a contagious disease about their estranged mum or dad etc poison that we carry that can change the atmosphere in a room, we are talking about the poison of gossip, slander, offence, jelousy abd envy that every single one of us are guilty of. Maybe you are someone that have been hurt badly by such things, they have paralysed you in stopppng you from stepping out, don’t stay there, that’s not Gods best for you or me. Make the rest of your life count, we only have one life, so let’s get rid of the deadly poison and fill the atmosphere with a beautiful fragrance. This is not a message to stroke our egos but to take an internal examination of ourselves and be the solution to a problem and not be the problem. Curious, then we would love to see you.

Come join us tomorrow for church at 4pm Tonyrefail Community Centre. I don’t know about you but I very often find myself getting anxious about many things that can knock me off track, but there is an antidote for that, and sadly we very often only take the antidote when we have tried everything else, instead of it being the first thing we do. Curious then come and listen to a message on how to heal an anxious mind. We would love to see you, just come as you are, we are here for you but MOST IMPORTANTLY GOD IS. Stay behind afterwards for a light supper so we can get to know you more.

What an incredible 2nd outreach event we had last night. Was great to have Pastor Dale and Natalie and members of the Rock church with us too who have been serving their community for years and years. So great to see so many people of all ages from Gilfach, Evanstown and Tonyrefail. Thanks to Emma and Lisa for allowing us to use the venue. But more importantly to our amazing musicians who fund themselves, leaving their jobs and leaving their families to come to be with us for months at a time because they are called by God to love on our communities with the gifts that God has given them in serving and being a catalyst in bringing communities together. Ted and Suzanne your teams have excelled themselves this year. Hope you all enjoyed it and want them back next year.l if it’s possible with their busy schedule. We were truly entertained by Heavens angels, messed up ordinary authentic people. If any churches are interested in them coming to YOU in the future pop me a message.
PS If anyone wants to come and help in the work we do in Tonyrefail we would love some kingdom builders.

5pm Kenry Street. 2nd evangelistic event this weekend. Great bands, free entry, free burger or sausage, once they’re gone they’re gone. All the way from America and parts of UK to entertain us.
