As we get closer to the grand opening of our new premises, a thought struck me the other day.

As Christians, it can sometimes be hard to invite an unsaved friend to church or a mission. I’ve tried it myself….. I wondered if part of the reason is that they already know what to expect — they might feel like they’re going to be preached at, the singing might feel strange, or they might simply feel uncomfortable walking into something they’re not familiar with.

So we thought… What if the invitation was simply, “Come for a coffee and a sausage roll”?

Why wouldn’t they come?

No pressure. No expectations. Just a warm space, something tasty to eat, a coffee and a chat.

Our new LIFE Outreach premises open on Saturday 5th September, with our first Sausage Roll Saturday — and we’d love you to bring someone with you.

Ask a friend…… Never underestimate the power of an invitation. ❤️

A wee update from LIFE Outreach ❤️

The signage is finally finished — and we honestly couldn’t be happier with how the new premises are looking!

What started as an idea on paper is now becoming a reality, and seeing the LIFE Outreach name up on the front of the building makes it all feel very real.

A massive shout out to Carnroe Supplies for going above and beyond to help make it happen. From the initial design right through to installation, and all the support in between, they have been absolutely brilliant.

We really appreciate the time, effort and care they’ve put into helping us get this right. 👏

We’ve been very quiet lately…

But just like God Himself, sometimes when He seems quiet, He’s actually working the hardest!

Well, we’ve been working hard and..… we finally have an OPENING DATE! 🎉

Our new LIFE Outreach drop-in will officially open on Saturday 5th September, and we’re delighted that our main sponsor, Bulrush Horticulture Ltd, will be there to officially open the doors.

And what better way to celebrate than with a SAUSAGE ROLL SATURDAY! We’ll have FREE sausage rolls, fresh from the famous Irons Bakery!

There’s been a lot of work, time, blood, sweat and loads of prayers in getting to this point — but we’re nearly there.

5th September…. Put it in the diary!!
