Reminder we have been learning our memory verse Collisions 3 V 2 each week.

This week the kids will be asked if they can say the verse from memory and if they can they might even get a special prize!

This week Jess taught us about SADNESS using the story of David and his son Absalom. We learnt how to manage times when we are sad and that we can always turn to God when we are upset 🥰

Our kids must have been listening really well because they knew all the answers for the quiz! We also learnt our last verse in Psalm 23!! Now to memorise it for our Memory Verse Challenge coming up in April! 📕

The pancake competition is back again this year!

This Tuesday we want to see some of your best ever pancake creations! Submit your entries on Tuesday and don’t forget to tag portadownelimkids.

Next kids church we will go over all the entries and see which tribe can win the most points!

PRAYER JOURNALS

In group work this week the yellow and blue tribe (p5-7 girls and boys) made prayer journals where they can keep record of prayer and praise points to help them deepen their prayer life!!

KINGDOM KIDS we are SO PROUD of you all for sacrificing your Monday night sweets 🍬 for 8 weeks before Christmas! Our sweetie money 👛 was used to buy Ginette a lovely pink watch ⌚️ and some new clothes 👚for her 9th birthday! 🥳
Her big smile 😁 says it’s all! 🩷🩷

In Kingdom Kids this week we learnt about how God can help us resist TEMPTATION and how only God can overcome the giant of SIN!

We also had a sketch to illustrate our theme, memory verse with cool actions, fun bowling quiz and awesome singing and dancing!

🎉 We are so excited to welcome you all back to Kingdom Kids tonight! We will be meeting 3 new characters Bathsheba, Uriah and Nathan, as David wrestles with the giants of TEMPTATION and SIN. Can’t wait to see you there! 😁
