It was great to catch up with all our campers last night at our Camp Reunion!

Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with friends, play some sport and enjoy some food together. It was a lovely evening.

We look forward to the year ahead in both Brigades and to the many opportunities we will have to work together, build friendships, share God’s love, continue our Scripture teaching and encouraging our young people.

Looking forward to another great year ahead!

Preloved Uniform Appeal

If anyone has old BB uniform that their son has outgrown, or perhaps your son is moving on to a different section, we would really appreciate you considering donating it to our Preloved Uniform Appeal.

The uniform will be made available to other boys who may need it, helping families while also giving good-quality uniform a second life.

Well done to Callum Doak who along with 7 others ran 73.5km from Tullyroan Oval to Aghadowey Oval on Saturday 18th July.

They were raising money for the Air Ambulance NI and Evora Hospice.

Callum then went on to win the 2L Hotrod British Championship. A fantastic achievement, well done.

BB and GB made a return to Tollymore for their annual summer camp.

We were blessed with beautiful weather, a fantastic bunch of young people and a great group of leaders. We even had some younger campers who we know enjoyed their first taste of camp.

We enjoyed exploring the forest, bouldering in the Bloody Bridge River, trips to Newcastle, walks on the beach, games in the marquee, tent sports and mini golf. As always we had great food thanks to Barbara for planning and preparing this for us.

Each evening we had our time of worship and epilogues with this year's theme focusing on the 'I am ' statements.

After a windy start, the campers enjoyed some good weather yesterday and went for an evening walk around Tollymore to explore their surroundings 🌳

Junior BB visited Ganaway Outdoor Pursuits Centre for our annual residential. We had a lovely weekend with great weather. The boys got to try lots of new experiences, we took part in archery, tried the climbing wall, tested our bravery on the zipline, explored caves and had great fun taking part in laser tag. We enjoyed a walk on the beach on Saturday evening and the boys really enjoyed exploring the grounds and playing football in their free time.
