The great CE Quiz beckons.

This Saturday (16th May) boys will become men. Stories will be etched into folklore. And friendships potentially will be torn apart.

Nevertheless, it'll be a fun night to forget about exams.

Remember a number of things;
- We will start sharply at 8pm (for the only time of the year).
- Teams of 5 max.
- £2 entry fee (cash/card) which will go toward our summer teams.

It is that time of year and we are delighted to start the mad rush for New Horizon.

We're excited for another venture up to Maple Lodge this summer.

𝗨𝗻𝗰 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

Calling all 'Uncs' (those who are university age) to sign up for our overnight up at the north coast from Fri 12th - Sat 13th June.

£40 all round cost which pays for your accommodation, Friday night meal, breakfast and a wee game of Padel. You couldn't beat it.

Big Questions - Christians in Sport

We have our third instalment in our 'Big Questions' series this Saturday (18th April) as CE returns after our Easter break.

We're delighted to have Phil Small from Christians in Sport with us as we'll chat through what it looks like to follow Jesus faithfully in the world of sport.

It'll be a super night and one not to miss.

𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙄𝙎𝙀

This Saturday (4th April) we have our Easter Praise evening and we are really looking to a night of worship as we lift high the name of the risen Lord Jesus.

This is a night open to the whole CE family. So parents, grandparents, 1st Portadown folk are all welcome to join us in the CE hall. There will be plenty of treats afterwards as well.

Remember, there is no CE on Saturday 11th April. We are back to normality on Saturday 18th April.

Big Questions - Anxiety

We have our second instalment in our 'Big Questions' series this Saturday (21st Feb).

We're tackling the matter of anxiety. What is it? How to cope with it? How to help someone with it? We're delighted to have Andrew Collins down helping us navigate our way through the matter from a clear biblical perspective.

There will be a resource available to purchase as well. Ed Welch's book on anxiety which we'll be selling for £3.

If that wasn't enough, there will be pancakes and lots of them.

Happy new year!

School and Uni might not be back just yet but CE returns this Saturday (3rd Jan).

We're excited to get back at it as we kick off a new year and term.

𝕮𝖆𝖗𝖔𝖑 𝕾𝖊𝖗𝖛𝖎𝖈𝖊

We would love to welcome you to the CE Carol Service (Christmas Eve, 7pm).

It is one of our favourite nights of the year and as always we extend the invitation to everyone.

We will have some lovely festive treats so please stay a few minutes afterwards.

Word to the wise, please try to arrive early as the hall usually fills up quick.
