A great day out for 5 of our new Company Section P7 Boys yesterday.
They completed the full circular walk aroud the Greenock Cut while learning a wee bit about the history of The Cut and enjoyed a good burger at the Fishermans Cafe.
Well done Braxton, Oliver, Blake, Fraser and Ben.

A good days table tennis for 7 of our Boys playing at the East Ayrshire Open Table Tennis competitionat Stewarton today.
Well done to Murray, James, Louie, Peniel, Millar, Aaron and Ben, who on the day played against some of the best young players in Scotland.
Louie won a trophy finishing 3rd in the Junior Banded Boys competition.

Especially our anchors who are happy to welcome any new p1-p3 boys who want to try out the BB.

Just like that it's time to start back at BB. All our sections are returning next week with welcome nights for our boys and new recruits.

City of Perth Salute

Today the Band of the 2nd Port Glasgow BB played in the Parade and in the Arena at this massive event.

What a terrific day for our Band to play in front of thousands of people on a glorious summers day in Perth.

The Boys had a great day and what a reception we received marching through the centre of Perth and in the Arena at the North Inch Field, where our Band shared a stage with some of the well known celebrities of the Scottish music scene along with other top acts from across the UK.

The Boys should be proud of their achievement today and look back with pride on their performances and the many accolades they have received.

Thanks to our supporters who came along today and the City of Perth Salute for inviting us to participate in this event.

This Sunday our band will take part in our biggest event post COVID.

With an early start in the morning we will head through Perth to take part in the City of Perth Salute. This will be an excellent end to the session.

We still have seats on the bus for supporters at only £10 per head and a full day's entertainment in Perth. If you friends or family of the company would like to come along please message us or contact Billy/David.

We had a young Band playing at the Bridge of Weir Gala Day today and they did not let the 2nd Port down. The Bands performance today was very good.
The Boys also enjoyed the many stalls and activities in their free time and a free burger and drink.
