Hi everyone. We at Longfleet Baptist are planning to hold a one-off Messy Church style event to celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III. It will be on Sunday 7th May starting at 10.30am. There will be crafts, quizzes, challenges and other activities suitable to all ages. This will be followed by a buffet lunch provided by the Church. We'd love to see past Messy Church families then. Hi everyone, we have taken the difficult decision not to restart Messy Church as we no longer have enough people to form a team to run it safely and well. We will miss meeting you all and the friendships we have made with many of you. Look out on our Church website for other things we may be doing in the future. God bless. As we only had two families who collected our January Messy Church Take-Away bags, we have decided to take a break from doing Take-Away bags for February and March while we think about the future of Messy Church. If you would like to let us know your thoughts about getting back together for Messy Church then send us a message.

Hi everyone. I hope you had a good Christmas and that you are looking forward to the New Year. We will be doing our Messy Church Take-Away for January on Wednesday 12th January. We will be looking at the story of a lady who lost a precious coin and how pleased she was when she found it. Come along to the Church front door between 3pm and 4pm to collect a bag of craft and catch up with us then. Please do tell your friends about this too. Hi everyone, we have decided to cancel our trial face-to-face Christmas Messy Church this coming Wednesday 8th December as only one family had booked places. Instead we will be giving out bags of Christmas craft goodies at the church between 3pm and 4pm as we have done for the last year. Come and have a catch up then and pass the message on to anyone who might be interested.

Hi everyone. Don't forget that if you want to join us for our face to face Messy Church next Wednesday, you need to book tomorrow (Friday 3rd) telling us how many of your family are coming and if you have any special dietary requirements. Email [email protected]

We are planning a trial run of in-person Messy Church for December. This will take place on Wednesday 8th December and will be a little bit different to how we did Messy Church pre-pandemic. In particular numbers will be limited to 30 people and places will need to be pre-booked. For more details read the letter attached to this post. Talk to us about it at our November Messy Church Take-Away as well.

Hi everyone, after a break during October we are back to doing our Messy Church Take-Away bags for November. We will be giving those out on Wednesday 10th October between 3pm and 4pm at the church front door. Come along and see us then. Hi everyone, hope you have all had a great summer holiday and are getting ready for going back to school. We are still going to be doing our Messy Church Take Away bags this month as we talk about how and when we can start Messy Church face to face. This month's bag will be given out on Wednesday 8 September between 3 - 4pm and will include activities for September and October as there is a possibility we may not be able to use the church premises in October. September's activities look at the blind man, Bartimaeus and how Jesus healed him. October's is about the prophet Elijah and some of his adventures. Come along next Wednesday for a catch up and collect your Take Away bags then. You can see what we will be doing in the photo gallery here.
