St Mary’s Longfleet (SML) is a vibrant Anglican Church in Poole on the South Coast and we are also part of the New Wine Network. We are made up of people from many different walks of life but together we share a common vision to love God, grow disciples and to reach out with His love into our community and across the South Coast. We have three services on Sundays, the 8:45, Holy Communion, the 10.45, Family Celebration and the 6.30pm, evening worship!

A few prayer points to help direct your prayers for the Middle East:

1. Pray for Protection and Peace Across the Region
- Pray for God’s protection over civilians throughout Iran and the Middle East during this moment of political uncertainty and risk of wider conflict.
- Ask for a peaceful transition of leadership in Iran, for the restraint of violence, and for voices of freedom, wisdom, and justice to rise in places of influence.

2. Pray for Leaders and Authorities
- Lift up all those in positions of power.
- Pray that God would raise up good and Godly leaders, move hearts toward peace, and guide decision makers with wisdom and restraint.
- Ask that sustainable, just peace would prevail across nations, and that God would bring transformation where tensions run high.

3. Pray for the Church in Iran and the Middle East
- Pray for the Church that has existed in this region since Pentecost and continues to grow today through house churches, pastors and ministries.
- Ask for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, for strength, courage, and boldness for church leaders and relief workers, and for the Church to be salt and light amid the crisis.
