Amazing work again, well done Gobaith Clothing and everyone at yesterday's distribution.

This is God's love in practical action.

I am so happy we can be involved in even a small way to share what we have where it is needed.

Hope Penuel will get together again on Monday, from 10.30 a.m. to sort some more clothes. Pop along and give a hand if you are able, we would love to see you. We will even make you a cuppa to whet your whistle while we're at it.

Here, indeed is love.

Social gospel and liberation theology in the Eglwys Bresbyteraidd Cymru - The Presbyterian Church of Wales.

40 childrenโ€™s bundles were distributed across Pontypridd and Newport today.
Some were dropped off to these brilliant Health visitors that work so hard supporting families health and wellbeing needs. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Hope Penuel Presbyterian Church, and the Vale Mission Partnership invite you to join us on Thursday 14th May, at 7.00 p.m., for a service of worship and celebration to commemorate Jesus' Ascension into Heaven, 40 days after Easter.

Perhaps you are not able to make a dawn service on this day, join us on the evening of Ascension to remember Jesus' return to His Father, bearing his scars and ours, to the throne of glory.

Everyone is very warmly welcome. Come and see, that the God who made you and knows you, loves you eternally.

FINAL FRIDAY COFFEE MORNING - 8TH MAY 10.30-12.30!

New things coming soon.

It's almost May, the blossom is out, and we are looking forward to a busy month at Hope Penuel Presbyterian Church. Why not come along and join us for any or all of these events?

Every Sunday at 11.00 a.m. we meet to worship, everyone is very warmly welcome.

Every Tuesday between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. the church is open for quiet prayer. It's a chance to find some peace and stillness and listen for the voice of God in the middle of our busy lives.

On Monday 11th we are going to meet at 10.30 a.m. to sort some donations for Gobaith Clothing, the social outreach of the Presbyterian Church in South East Wales, bringing good quality clothes to those who need them.

On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 2.30 p.m. we meet for a lively Bible study. We read a passage and have an open and honest discussion about what it means to us, as well as have space to ask questions in trust and openness. Perhaps you have been wondering about God, about the Bible, about faith, why not come along and see what it's like. Let's read and talk together over the Bible and a cuppa.

On Thursday 14th at 7.00 p.m. we have an Ascension Day service when we remember when Jesus returned to Glory 40 days after his resurrection at Easter. Everyone is very warmly welcome.

Friday coffee mornings are from 10.30- 12.00. Everyone is very welcome, bring your children, there are some toys and colourings for them to play with, as well as games.

Please note, due to new plans coming soon, our FINAL coffee morning will be in Friday 8th May.

On the 3rd Friday of the month we invite you and your families to join us for Family Fridays. This is completely family and children focused, we will have a Bible story, some play, some music, some time to pray and talk and ask questions, or just be quiet, and a light meal. All families very warmly welcome.

From 18th to the 21st there will be Zoom National PCW prayer meetings for anyone who would like to join to pray together nationally. Please get in touch for the joining details if you are interested.

Fabulous work of the team at Capel Y Bont bringing resources to help and support to children with Additional Learning Needs, and their families. This work is vital and will no doubt be a great blessing to many.

If you need help or support for your child, please do contact The ALN Hub at Capel Y Bont and see what they can do to support and direct you to agencies and help for your and your child's needs.

Do you need some peace, some calm, some time to sit in the quiet with your thoughts? You are welcome.

Do you want, in that space and time to seek the face of God, to know for yourself that God is there, that he is with you, not just in this place, but wherever you are, whatever is happening in your life? You are welcome.

Are you looking to be known, to be seen, to be heard, and find meaning, and not find it anywhere no matter where you search? You are welcome.

Come as you are, whoever you are, however you are? See that the Lord is good.
You are welcome.

For the first half hour, from 10.30-11.00 a.m. we will have lead prayer using a prepared format from a Christian community. Following that there will be the space for personal prayer, quiet reflection, or to talk with or pray with me, should you wish.

Join us for our twice-monthly Bible study, this Wednesday, 22nd April, 2.30 p.m. at Hope Penuel Presbyterian Church, Pontyclun, when we will be reading and thinking about Psalm 23.
This is perhaps one of the most famous passages from the whole Bible, if not the most famous psalm, for many it is a source of comfort.
Perhaps, however, you have never read it, or only know it in passing, perhaps you wonder what it might mean, something written so very long ago, to people today.
Come along and join a group of friendly people, all with their own views and experiences, who welcome you too.
Come and see, ahead of Good Shepherd Sunday, what the LORD being your shepherd might just mean for you.
Everyone is very warmly welcome.
Tea / coffee and biscuits provided.
