Parish of St Joseph, Pontefract The Parish of St Joseph, came into existence by decree in 2008 being made up of 5 former independent parishes around Pontefract and Knottingley.

Our Churches are:
St Joseph's
Back Street,
Pontefract,
WF8 1NL

Sunday Mass - 11am & 6pm

and

St Michael's
Hill Top,
Knottingley,
WF11 9AQ

O God, who decreed that Saint Barnabas,
a man filled with faith and the Holy Spirit,
should be set apart to convert the nations,
grant that the Gospel of Christ,
which he strenuously preached,
may be faithfully proclaimed by word and by deed.

whose Only Begotten Son, as he hung upon the Cross,
chose the Blessed Virgin Mary, his Mother,

your Church may be more fruitful day by day

may draw to her embrace all the families of the peoples.
