We had a lot of fun last Friday at Renew Wellbeing Oasis ;
A few weeks ago, the lovely Mick brought in some of his fantastic paintings to show us, and on Friday Fiona and Michelle gave it a go under Mick's guidance. We're looking forward to doing the same again this week! We will have plenty of canvases and paint for anyone else who wants to join us.

We're also making slow progress on our jigsaw puzzle - please come and help us 🧩

Zechariah 3:1-5 tells the story of Joshua the high priest, standing before God in filthy garments with an accuser at his side. He offered no defense, no explanation, no promise to do better. And God did not ask for one. God simply commanded that the filthy garments be removed and that rich robes be placed on him instead. This is the picture of salvation. You did not earn the robe. You did not negotiate for it. God covered you because covering you was always His intention. The accuser still speaks, but the robe answers every charge. What God has placed on you, no voice — internal or external — has the authority to remove.

Reflection: In what areas of your life are you still listening to the accuser's voice rather than resting in what God has already declared over you?
Awards season starts in November, when people get all kinds of adoration for singing songs or acting in movies. It all culminates in March of next year with the Oscars. The most asked question of those walking the red carpet is "Who are you wearing?" Which fashion house is the flavour of the year? But God asks a far deeper question. Who are YOU wearing?
