Oasis Church

Oasis Church We are a Bible-believing, Spirit-filled, non-denominational church in South Elmsall. Our 10.30 Sunday morning services are for all ages.

We believe forgiveness, grace, and mercy are at the heart of all that God is. Sunday Services start at 10.30am
We meet in the old billiards hall near Home Bargains. We have children's programmes for 2-11 year olds and are developing a new youth programme for our older kids. Palms, our coffee lounge is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 10am-2pm. mainly music, our parent and baby/toddler group is o

n Tuesdays starting at 9.45am. £2 per family. Renew Wellbeing, our quiet space for sharing hobbies, a cuppa and a chat is on Fridays 12-2pm. As a church we support Comfort International, a charity that works in 6 African countries to help rebuild lives devastated by poverty, genocide and conflice. As part of our partnership with this charity we sponsor a midwife, Adeline who works in the charity's hospital in DRC. We would love to welcome you into our church family.

This evening at Basics of Faith we talked about the bible; our favourite verses, different ways of studying God's Word, how we can seek wisdom and guidance from the scriptures and how we can apply what we read in it to our everyday lives. It was a great evening of open and honest conversation with lots of laughs thrown in the mix too!

Sewing machines at the ready! If you're keen to learn how to sew for free, our first sewing station at Renew Wellbeing will be this Friday at 12-2pm, Oasis Church 10a Exchange Street South Elmsall WF9 2RD. All material etc. will be provided for this session.

We will also get the jigsaw puzzle and crochet equipment out for anyone who prefers those activities.

This evening at Basics of Faith we explored some of the many ways in which we can worship God (it is so much more than singing in church on a Sunday morning). We discussed how worship shifts our focus onto God and helps us to prioritise and respond to things in our lives in the best way.

Our challenge for this week, and you're welcome to join us, is to find something every day to thank God for.
