Plymouth Soft Play Cafe PSPC is family, friendly cafe with soft play frame and play areas for children 0-8 years. The car park in front of the church and cafe is permit holders only.

We are now operating in 90 minute sessions 9.30-11am and 11.30-1pm to allow for cleaning and to ensure we keep numbers manageable and safe. (it is patrolled) The nearest car park is in Mayflower Street. PLEASE NOTE on Saturdays we open 9.30-11am,11.30am-1pm and 1.30-3pm. Here is our behaviour policy:
1. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+ years old) and remain the sole respon

sibility of that adult at all times. This adult must remain on site for the whole visit.
2.Only children 8 years and younger are allowed in the frame, an adult may enter to supervise and help their child. Staff member to be consulted if older child needed to go in to help younger sibling.( please check Risk assessment)
3. It is the duty of the supervising adult to ensure that their child is using the play frame and other toys safely, interacting harmoniously with other children and staying in the hall. If your child is displaying challenging behaviour and disrupting a session we will ask parents to sit nearer the play areas so they can monitor children’s behaviour. If challenging behaviour continues you may be asked to leave the premises without a refund. Please speak to member of staff if concerned about another child’s behaviour.

7. No food or drink, sweets or chewing gum may be taken into the play frame. Also
no sharp objects or toys should be taken onto the stage or in the soft play frame.
8. All accidents must be reported to a member of staff and any illness or toilet training leaks must be communicated to staff so can be cleaned appropriately.
9. All damage to PMCH property, accidental or deliberate, must be reported to staff.
10. Customers’ personal possessions remain their sole responsibility. PSPC cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of personal possessions during customer visits.
11. Nappy changing & disposal must take place in the baby changing room. No wipes to be flushed down any toilets. Nappies must not be changed in the café.
12. PSPC may refuse entry or ask children to cease playing if they are unwell or considered to be carrying a contagious illness.
13. PSPC will not tolerate abusive behaviour from adults or children towards staff or other customers. Anyone demonstrating such behaviour may be asked to leave without a refund.
14. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
15. PSPC cannot be held responsible for accidents which occur as a result of children playing on the equipment. Every reasonable step has been taken to control the risk of accidents through the design, maintenance and operation of the facilities. However, it is impossible to eliminate such risks whilst providing a stimulating play environment and parents/guardians should recognise this.
