How great was Katie at Hug - A - Mug today? A really good and informative chat about recognising and protecting ourselves from scams! About 20 people were there. Jo 😊

Our Hug a Mug coffee session this morning welcomed Katie Smith from Barclays Bank to talk about mobile phone and computer scams. Katie gave an interesting and informative address regarding the dangers of scams. She helped us to understand the warning signs and the pitfalls plus the strategies that can be adopted in order to keep us safe online.

Katie got her message across loud and clear: if you aren't sure about a text or an email that you have received then check with your bank. Never let your guard down!
