This year, as in previous years, we are taking part in "Operation Christmas Child". This is a project of Samaritan’s Purse which gives us a hands-on way to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, personal care items, school supplies, and fun gifts.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

If you want to get involved, see how to pack your shoe box here: https://www.samaritans-purse.org.uk/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/how-to-pack-a-shoebox-no-follow

And feel free to pass your box in to us at the church by 8th November ahead of the National Collection Week 9-16 November.

If you are unable to fill your own shoe box, follow the same link and select the option to build a box online, where you can make a donation and someone else does all the hard work.
