✨ THE FAMILY THEN & NOW ✨

🗓️ Sunday 17th May 2026 – Evening Prayer

We gathered for a meaningful evening of reflection, discussion, and fellowship as we explored how family life has changed over the years, the values we cherished “then,” the realities we faced “now,” and how families could continue growing stronger for the future. ❤️🏡

Together, we reflected on:
🔹 What changed in family life
🔹 What may have been lost — and gained
🔹 The challenges families faced today
🔹 Lessons from the past that could strengthen us now
🔹 The role of faith, love, communication, and respect in the home

📖 “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

Families may have looked different today, but the need for love, guidance, faith, and unity remained the same. It was a wonderful opportunity to share memories, wisdom, and encouragement as a church family.

✨Be Strong for yourself first.✨

We cannot pour from an empty vessel, and so we are invited to find rest in God’s love, strength in His presence, and peace in His promise. The battle belongs to the Lord, and in Him, we are never alone.

May we stand firm this week in faith, knowing that even in weariness, God is restoring us from within. 🙏🌿

✝️ Good Friday Reflection

Today we pause to remember the depth of God’s love revealed on the cross. 💜

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” (John 3:16)

On this sacred day, may our hearts be filled with gratitude, humility, and hope. Through sacrifice came salvation, and through the cross, we are reminded that love always triumphs.

Let us reflect, pray, and draw closer to Him. 🙏
