Come and find out what bell ringing is all about with a visit to our Church Cafe and Open Ringing Room event on 2nd May 10am-12pm.

Have a go at chiming one of the bells and find out about the next steps to becoming a bell ringer: you don't have to be a church goer, we practice on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 St Mary's in Westham and ring on a Sunday morning from 9:15.

Merry Christmas!

A busy 18 hours for our ringers, 3 services to ring for, a very busy Christingle being the first yesterday afternoon, followed by Midnight Communion last night and then the Christmas Morning service this morning.

The ringers' Christmas hats seem to have gone missing 🤔

Our joint monthly practice for ringers for ringers from the local area was tonight and we had a fantastic time, with everyone really trying hard and achieving new goals in many cases.

We also enjoyed some delicious homemade rhubarb cake as a reward!

It is the flower festival at St Mary's this weekend and the ringing room will be open on Saturday from 11am until 1pm.

Come in and say hi!

We will have the live video feed from the belfry on the screen in the ringing room, so you can watch our bells spinning round as we pull the ropes... 📺 🔔

Happy 90th Birthday to Leslie, one of our ringers! Balloons 🎈 🎂 🎉

Not only does Leslie show up every Wednesday for practice and Sunday morning for service ringing (you'll find him on our number 3 bell!), but he also helps look after our bells and recently undertook a project to replace all our ropes with new ones.

Every tower needs a Leslie, whose experience was invaluable just last weekend when he gave us advice on how to repair our #5 bell's clapper and set it up again.

Here is to many more happy years of ringing!
