We had an awesome day trying something new for most of us with some surfing. It certainly required perseverance (from some more than others) and helped us consider Philippians 1:6 and the confidence of Christ's work in our lives, helping us to persevere in our faith.

That's the end of another year of Connect. It's been a different year from previous with moving to a Sunday night but it's still had all the usual fun. Amazingly 6 made the decision to get baptised and we look forward to more who are planning on it after the summer.

Thank you to all the parents taking the young people to the variety of different venues this year, as we sought to get to know more of the church family.

They are a great bunch and we are so privileged to serve them and have lots of fun at the same time.

We had some fun yesterday, with the boys playing Mario Party and the girls getting into the Christmas spirit and packing 20 shoeboxes with gifts to send through Operation Christmas Child.

Connect is moving!

Starting the 3rd September, Connect will now be on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, 7.30pm-9pm.

This is for everyone in P6-S6, with some nights the ages split into two.

There will still be all the same fun and opportunity to learn from the Bible.

We are excited about this change and hope you will still join us.

We will post some things here but if you would like to be added to the FB messenger group which will share more, please just let me know.

I look forward to seeing everyone again on the 3rd Sept.

Connect Youth is back this friday and what better way than with a scavenger hunt! Open to everyone in P6 - S3☺️

Join us at the Baptist Church at a slightly later time of 7.30pm (finishing at 9.30pm) where you’ll get your clues, pick your team and be on your way!

We can’t wait to see you all☺️
