Sunday PM 6th September 2026, Complete in Christ. Paul warns the believers against being spoiled through philosophy, vain deceit, traditions of men, and the rudiments of the world. Instead, they are to remain rooted, built up, established, and abounding in thanksgiving in Christ. In Him are "hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge," and in Him believers are complete. The chapter points us away from human wisdom and religious performance and back to the sufficiency of Christ: His death, burial, resurrection, and victory over the powers of darkness.

figure steps into the story — someone most Bible readers have probably passed over without a second thought.

We rejoice in three professions of faith in Christ during the Family Gospel Mission this week, and several more also during the evangelism on the bank holiday Monday in the city. Believers were also encouraged through the preaching and children’s meetings. And the music, art, ventriloquism, and puppets were all uplifting to the soul and pointing to Christ! Thank you, Barry and Cheryl Webb for coming again, and we pray for your continuing ministry in the UK and Ireland.

FAMILY GOSPEL MISSION
TONIGHT AT 7 PM.

Mr and Mrs Webb have been a great blessing serving the Lord and our local church through puppets, ventriloquism, chalk art, vocal and instrumental music, old-fashioned Bible preaching from Mr Webb, and engaging children's lessons from Mrs Webb.

Let us PRAY for them as they continue their ministry in Scotland and Ireland over the next several weeks!
