Events at St John's

If you've been a regular at our lunchtime concerts over the past few years you'll probably be wondering what's happening.

The bad news is that Tuesdays Till Two won't be returning.

The good news is that it's not the end of lunchtime concerts altogether: we're hoping to make Thursday the new day for regular concerts at St John's, and as a first step to doing that we'll be organising a season of "jazz café" style concerts to take place from late October, and then a season of classical concerts to begin just after Easter in 2027.

If you're interested in volunteering, there's a chance to meet representatives from a host of local organisations looking to recruit new volunteers and celebrate what their volunteers are already achieving. Come to St John's between 10am and 1pm on Wednesday 3rd June for a chance to meet and chat with representatives from all the following:
