Running to Him is a choice we make, placing our trust in who He is rather than what we fear. Let this verse remind you that safety is found in drawing close to God, trusting Him as your source of refuge, strength, and peace.

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Faith itself is a gift from God ❤️
As God’s Word is preached,
it takes root in the heart.

What you hear becomes the foundation of your faith—your assurance of what you cannot yet see. Faith is not blind hope; it is trust grounded in God’s Word.

As Paul says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) 🙌🏼

The Month of 'The Fruit of the Spirit'

Galatians 5:22-23

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such, there is no law."

Why are the fruits of the Spirit important?

As a believer, you have access to the fruits of the Spirit because they are a result of the Holy Spirit working in you. To consistently live out these traits stated in Galatians 5:22-23, you must stay connected to Christ and surrender your desires to God's will. It's not about your own strength, which will fail, but about relying on the Holy Spirit's guidance. These traits are developed over time and are still relevant and necessary today, helping you imitate Christ's nature in a world focused on instant success.

Ambassadors of Christ | 2 Corinthians 5:17-20

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God."

July: The Month of Soul Winning

Why is this important?
1) Because this is what God has commanded us to do. It is not an option. It is not a spiritual gift. It is not a church growth program. It is a clear, unequivocal, unavoidable command of God.

2) Hell exists, and we know how not to end up there. It is through true repentance and the gift of salvation. Through God's grace by faith in Jesus Christ and is not earned through good works.

3) Winning souls is the heartbeat of God. He wants His children to know how precious they are to Him. It is important to spread God's unconditional love and His word in a world full of judgement, hatred, and loss of faith.

John 4:36 (NKJV)
