All are welcome to celebrate the Feast of St John the Baptist at our Patronal Service, this Sunday June 27th at 11am.
Afterwards there will be refreshments (served according to Covid restrictions). Please remember masks still need to be worn in the church.

The church is now registered with easyfundraising.org, which means you can raise FREE donations for us every time you shop online. Over 4,000 shops and sites will donate to us when you use easyfundraising to shop with them – at no extra cost to yourself!

Retailers include: John Lewis, M & S, Waterstones, Argos and lots more
Other services include: BT and other utilities, travel - holiday companies etc

These donations really mount up and make a BIG difference to us, so we’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to sign up and support us. It’s completely FREE and only takes a moment. You will only need to supply your name and email address.

We will not know what you have purchased or how much you have spent. Your contract is still with the retailer and only the retailer will know your credit/debit card information.

You can also make direct donations to the church through the easyfundraising website. We will still be able to collect Gift Aid from these donations. All the money raised will be used specifically to support the church building, and our plans to improve its facilities.

Dear Friends,

We have received a heart-rending email from Justin Devaraj, of BTC Bombay Teen Challenge, the Christian Charity that is saving children from s*x slavery and the misery of being left abandoned on the streets of Mumbai from as young as 8 weeks or so. So far they have been able to protect both the children and their carers from Covid 19, but they have been severely hit by a lack of revenue as Covid has hit donations hard. They are eating into their reserves and calling for financial help in continuing such vital work, even more needed as services and hospitals in India become over-stretched. Keeping this little community away from hospital is crucial. This is something practical we can all help with.

A group of us in the village have been supporting this work for several years following Devaraj senior visiting and speaking to us.

Jenny and I ask for your help by supporting a special garden opening this Sunday the 2nd of May from 2.00 – 6.00 pm. The charge will be £5 as for our NGS openings. The garden is full of blossom with over thirty trees and shrubs in flower, including cherries, crab apples, exochorda, early Buddleias, blue and white Abutilons and the first tree peonies.

Please come, and bring as many friends as possible, and support the street children of Mumbai, India.
