*2nd Islamic Arts Festival – Perth Mosque*

Assalamu alaikum,

Calling all creatives in our community — it’s time to share your talent and be part of something meaningful.

Theme: Visual Art as a Form of Dawah in Islam
From painting and photography to digital art and calligraphy — let your creativity reflect beauty, faith, and purpose.

Who can take part:
• Children (up to 12)
• Teenagers (up to 17)
• Adults (all artwork will be part of the exhibition & silent auction)

Important Dates:

Submission Deadline: 24th May (insha’Allah)
Event Day: Eid al-Adha 2026 (expected last week of May, insha’Allah)

What to expect on the day:

✓After Eid Salah, all artwork will be beautifully displayed for the community to enjoy.
✓ A special talk on the importance of Islamic art as a powerful form of dawah
✓ Community voting for Children & Teen categories
✓ 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners announced and awarded
✓ Food & drinks shared by families (as part of our community tradition)
✓ Silent auction of all artwork (including adult entries & completed pieces)
✓ Winning bids announced — all proceeds go to the Masjid

Children’s Fun Sahaba Boot Camp – Eid Al-Fitr 2026
Join us after the second Eid Salaah at Perth Mosque for a special children’s activity day inspired by the Sunnah insha'Allah
Activities include archery, sprint and relay races, spear throwing, wrestling, tug-of-war, and Capture the Flag. Younger children will also have a bouncy castle and a safe play area.
Each activity station will include short Islamic reminders connected to the Sunnah and the examples of the Sahaba. Children who complete the boot camp will receive a “Young Guardian of the Sunnah” certificate.
Location: 37 St Catherines Road, PH1 5RY
Date: Eid Al-Fitr 2026
Time: Immediately after the second Eid Salaah
Families are encouraged to bring treats and sweets to share so we can enjoy a joyful and communal Eid atmosphere together.
