As we approach the lifting of lockdown, the community at Kinnoull looks forward to welcoming back former guests, retreatants, course participants and those who have enjoyed rest and peace here.

We have been cautious in anticipating the reopening of our retreat house as we are totally dependent on government decisions here in Scotland. We are also aware that in these Covid days, advice and regulations can change quickly.

However we are now actively preparing to reopen our Centre as soon as further clarification is given. We anticipate that we will be able to take individual guests (or couples) from mid June and hope that group activities will resume in early July. Please watch this space and also our page.

We are aware of the toll that the pandemic has taken on so many individuals, families and groups. Our own communities in UK and throughput the world have been no exception; and we here in Kinnoull have really missed welcoming guests and interacting with them, as well as observing the joy they experience on entering into a place of peace and harmony. We have continued to remember you all in our prayers each day, and have lit candles for you and your loved ones.

“Knock, and it will be opened to you!" (Mt 7.7) We have opened today for individual retreatants, and from 1st October 2020 we welcome back groups. All socially-distanced, with a house maximum of 20, and with health guidelines in place. It has been a hard few months for everyone, and you all remain in our prayers. We hope you enjoy this new video, and for those who cannot yet come back and see us, we hope it brings back fond memories for you. From The Kinnoull Community. We are please to announce we are able to resume Sunday Mass at 10am, starting this Sunday 19th July! However, booking to attend Mass is essential in order to comply with guidelines from the Bishop. For more details, please see: https://www.kinnoullmonastery.co.uk/news/sunday-mass-resumed

Resuming Sunday Mass also means that our Sunday afternoon opening for private prayer is now at an end.
