Just a reminder of the special services at this time of year

This morning at Greystoke Church we honoured all the mothers, but also took time to recognise those for whom Mothering Sunday is difficult. Every female received a bouquet of flowers from children in the church.
Martin then went on to talk about how God can speak to us through the bible today.
Next week we are back in the church at 10.30am for proper coffee and cakes, with the service starting at 11am with a traditional Holy Communion service.

We enjoyed amazing sunshine before church in the village hall today which felt like a novelty. We had a great service with Martin preaching on fasting AFTER we had tasted the amazing coffee cakes and flapjacks before the service started.
Next week is Mothering Sunday and we will be back in the village hall. If you haven't seen the website yet it is at www.greystokechurch.org.uk and has lots of information about activities happening in the church.
