The Denby Dale and Clayton West Circuit is a part of the West Yorkshire District of the Methodist Church and is made up of 10 churches. Our churches are within a number of villages and communities that are spread across the boundary between West and South Yorkshire and lie between Barnsley, Huddersfield and Wakefield. All our churches are committed to working as closely as possible with other Chri

stian churches of whatever denominations, and two also in local ecumenical partnerships. We are committed to serving the life both of our local communities and of the wider world, nationally and internationally.

This week, members of the circuit team came together for a walk around Langsett Reservoir, pausing along the way to pray for God's world and the people within it. Local Lay Pastor Alison Caswell prepared a set of thoughtful prayer cards, which guided the group in prayer at various points throughout the walk, offering a gentle and reflective way to engage with the natural surroundings and the wider concerns of our communities.

We hope to repeat this walk with members of our circuit later in the year.
